Mosaic in Louisiana

With more than 500 employees and contractors in Louisiana, we’re proud to be one of the largest employers in St. James Parish. And with many of our employees living in the communities where we operate, we know the importance of making an impact at a local level. That’s why we’re honored to partner with organizations like the Capital Area United Way, the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, St. James Parish Schools and more to fulfill the needs of our employees, neighbors and communities.

Our mission is to help the world grow the food it needs. That’s why we’re dedicated to alleviating food insecurity right here in Louisiana, beginning with a group most in need: children. We’ve invested more than $200,000 in a multi-year pledge to establish a food backpack and closet program in local schools, providing more than 750 students with meals over the weekends and during holiday breaks.

As an employer in Louisiana for more than 50 years, we’re proud of the direct impact we’ve made. In 2022, we paid $2.3 million in state and local sales taxes and $670 million in property taxes in St. James Parish, along with $42.7 million in payroll annually for Louisiana residents.
